strength

This is a giant ogre type creature from Japanese mythology called oni. With this piece I wanted to convey strength and determination. I achieved this by exaggerating the upper right arm, you will also notice both his fists are clenched. Just to add a literal reference to strength he has a kanji character tattooed on his chest which stands for mountain. You wouldn't want to cross this character in a mountain pass.
